For Professionals and Sanctuaries
The JAYC Foundation’s core purpose is to facilitate the connecting of families and individuals to compassionate, location-based, animal-assisted services that support healing after trauma. Whether you are already a professional that offers Polyvagal Equine based services or if you are considering becoming professionally certified in Polyvagal Equine Training, we have options for you to be involved. Sanctuaries that support individuals and families navigating trauma by offering accessible, compassionate experiences are also eligible to join.
Join the Directory as a Professional
To join the Hooves for Helping Referral Program as a Professional:
- You must be a licensed therapist, qualified equine professional or certified master coach or have completed the PVEI ProPEL 12 month program.
- You must agree to provide a 25% discount to clients that mention they found you from Hooves for Helping.
- You must complete the intake form to describe your services.
Join the Directory as a Sanctuary
To join the Hooves for Helping Referral Program as a Sanctuary:
- You must operate an established animal sanctuary with a commitment to ethical care and animal welfare.
- You must agree to provide a 20% discount on admission or visits for individuals referred through Hooves for Helping.
- You provide a safe, welcoming environment for guests.
- You must complete the intake form to describe your sanctuary and offerings.

If you do not yet qualify to join our database:
- The best way to qualify is to complete Polyvagal Equine Institute’s 12 month ProPEL program.
- In partnership with the Polyvagal Equine Institute, we offer a limited number of scholarships to the 12 month ProPEL program.
